Health, Safety & Environment Specialist

Collaborate with selected contractors and personnel to ensure company’s HSE plans, procedures and standards are followed up adequately

Support in preparation of permits to work and updating relevant systems

Create safety awareness and when required assist in incident investigation and reporting

Conduct HSE presentations

Assist Site HSSE Lead as requested in the area of HSSE

Act as sparring partner for other HSE supervisors and Site HSSE Lead

Proactively and continuously improve HSE way of working

Supervise and coach all personnel on their HSE performance on site

Keep up with Emergency Response Team activities

Perform observation walks on the site, take (corrective) action as required and report to the management team

Assist in HSSE

Actively drive toolbox meetings

• MVK/HVK certificate or related field
• VCA-VOL safety certificate is a must
• Certified in first emergency management
• Authorized gas measurement

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Ability and experience to/with interacting with different levels and (cultural) backgrounds
• Solid understanding of construction safety topics
• Experience is coaching and supervising others
• Strong reporting and presentation skills verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
